agle janam mohe bitiya na kijo!

wo jeena cahti hai...par usse nai pata zindagi usse kya cahti hai!
her mistake?...she decided to go for a movie...night show.
RAPE...yes, once again a soul is striped of her modesty... can somebody be so insensitive?!..not only rape but the serious injuries convicted on her, I can’t even imagine something like this happening to someone...the injuries are so gruesome  that doctors are fighting hard to control their tears?!

WHY DO MEN RAPE?...a question I don’t know if someone has answer to...someone is getting raped as I write this...as statistics highlight that in India Rape happens every 22 minutes...something which we should not be proud off... it’s no fun touching a woman without her permission...it does not make you MEN enough...but prove you to be a coward and bastard!...and who is punished?...off course the victim!...and the thousand questions on her character...the never ending saga of length of skirt and rape invitation, she must be drunk, lose character and the list is endless.

And our legal system truly deserves a standing ovation!
We live in 2013 and follow a constitution of 1947!....what happened in the parliament two days after this incident proves my point!..one MP wanted to discuss the issue in Rajya Sabha and our beloved deputy speaker P.J.Kurien didn’t had the time...why are we so one track mind?...arre ek rape hi to hai...itna kya halla macha rahe ho aap log?!

And as I write this, she is already dead....and govt promises that her sacrifice won’t be a waste, victims will be punished but what I see is drastically opposite...security is beefed up at shiela dikshit and manmohan residence...WHY???..who will rape them?
I don’t blame the govt entirely...it’s our shameless society who don't teaches their son to respect WOMANKIND!...you also have a sister, mother at home.

My heart goes to her family and that young gentleman who was with her that unfortunate night...a father who was proud that his daughter is doing physiotherapy, will bring laurels to family, mother who can’t stop gushing about her daughter, brother for whom her sister was his inspiration...has a full stop in front of them...the scar will be with them for the rest of their life.

Today I feel ashamed to call myself and Indian, my head is hung in shame that I live in a country where there is no value  for a human life, no respect for a womankind!

Incredible India!

RIP Damini!

shades of life: Assam molestation-Wore a short skirt, get ready to...: My eyes opened today morning, saw the watch, got scared for a minute, as the time was 12.30pm!...later realized...ITS SUNDAY!!!...I was sun...

Assam molestation-Wore a short skirt, get ready to be raped babe!!

My eyes opened today morning, saw the watch, got scared for a minute, as the time was 12.30pm!...later realized...ITS SUNDAY!!!...I was sunken in my dream world when my stomach knocked....where is my breakfast?!..Home alone, Music, my favorite cold coffee, cheese sandwich are my companion for this lazy sunday!...opened the newspaper(after a century), fliping the pages, this article by Pradipta Borgohain and Bala Samson on the assam molestation case caught my eye, which says that if you do not dress up properly and go to pub you are bound to be raped!!
article:

I love to call myself an independent, modern woman but these articles made me think, will my sleeveless ganji and shorts which I am wearing right now qualifies me to get raped?!

Why is the length of the skirt is directly proportional to an rape invitation?

Why is the general notion that girls who wears short dresses are the only rape victims in the world?

Why do people think that girls who wear shorts or trendy attires or go to pub are by default sluts?

Last but no the least, why is always a girl at blame?

Its an ageless notion in India that girls who wear jeans and skirts are characterless....they are giving an invitation to men to come and rape them...guys give me a break!!..if I am wearing anything like that, I love to be experimental with my look and want to enjoy life and its no sort of invitation to anybody for that matter!

As I write this blog, logged on to news channel, here it is again, women moral policing  in Mangalore and an MLA describing the hypothesis that how short skirts play with men's testosterone and its a rape invitation card...I want to ask the crowd out there...especially women who are comfortable wearing salwar suit or saree...ARE YOU A VICTIM OF EVE TEASING OR MOLESTATION?...and I can see many hands raising out there!

If a woman is trendy in her dressing sense, sit in a bar to share a drink with her friends are there just to unwind herself from the hectic day is definitely not a bitch!..she is also a human being with a heart just like anyone else!....she is a wonderful daughter, sister and will be a lovely wife and mother!

Last but not the least why is always a woman at blame?...if a guy rapes a woman, why is that nobody points finger at them and they escape just because of the gender superiority?..there are not doing anything great for which they should be applauded!...why are boys not taught to respect not only women but every one as an individual!

I am very much sure that if a man does not treat a woman with respect, he will have the same attitude towards his own mother/sister!...and is definitely directly proportional to the ethics followed at your home!

Mayoso Pul--Forgotten War hero !!

Blogging!!....after long time!!...there is this small place...known as Hawai(Anjaw) in border areas of Arunachal Pradesh...the town was small and extremely beautiful as it was covered with snowy mountains all around, orange gardens..blue rivers..sunny mornings..breezy afternoons and somewhere in those rocky roads you will see this old guy wearing Black coat..if i remember correctly he always used to wear black...and yes black glove in his left hand...i used to wonder why does he always wear this gloves??

I do not remember who was that...some told me...this gentleman name is Mayaso Pul....he fought India-China war(1962)..his hand also got amputation...i used to think...how can someone fight India-China war that time and how?

The Place is highly terrain area...10-12 years ago..there were no roads or vehicles....it is hard to imagine how these guys must have fought the war!

I have faint memories of Mr. Pul...quiet, shy guy but full or pride...always had his head held high!
He used to come to our house even now and then and was extremely proud to tell the war stories...how he along with the army fought the war, the difficulties, Chinese aggression etc etc.

Iam surprised to read his plight in eastern express...the govt has failed to recognize the contribution of this war veteran!..and I am sure he is not the first and the last jewel of this country who the govt donot remember!

Do not understand why there are no policies which support such national treasures...they cant just be left to live a life of utter sadness.

Please spread this msg as much as you can so that he can at least get some recognition now!
